My Christmas Gingerbread house.

I had to share with you the images of my Gingerbread house, I must say I am pretty impressed with it. I decided to spend my day off getting into the Christmas spririt, and what better way than being a massive child and decorations Gingerbread with icing and sweets. However I must also admit that I didn't actually make it from scratch, I did however use the Morrisons Decorate your own Gingerbread House box set for £4. The reason I didn't try and make it myself is because last year I tried to do exactly that and it ended up being an absolute disaster. I've always been great at cooking, but unfortunately baking just ends up being a total fail. If I remember rightly I couldn't even get the walls to stick together last year. Oh dear.

It's a good job I had this box set. The great things about this box set is that it includes everything you need to decorate the Gingerbread house, not one of these that you have to buy extras for. So it really ends up being quite a bargain for £4, included is the 6 pieces of Gingerbread pieces that are need, icing and bag, and sweeties to decorate it. Also the Gingerbread has the markings on it, so you know where to decorate it, perfect for those who aren't very artistic or imaginative, it also includes a holder that keeps all the walls in position. Which was perfect as I really struggled with that part last year. And in all honesty it's perfect for kids, even the big ones like me.

I would love to see some photos of your gingerbread houses, I bet you could make one with the assisted help unlike me hahaha.
