The Body Shop have got you sorted for Mother's Day ...

Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.

To be completely honest, before Sunday I hadn’t even considered what I was going to get my Mum for Mother’s Day, normally I would just go for the simple chocolates and flowers. However, on Sunday I was lucky enough to be able to go to the Sheffield bloggers event in Meadowhall, where I had the chance to find out about all the amazing new products they had on offer, just in time for Mother’s day.

Firstly, we were shown a demonstration of the Drops of Youth products, These products are recommended for people like myself who are in their early 20’s, the aim of the product is to tackle wrinkles and fine lines head on. Giving your skin a helping hand before the signs of ageing become visible. We were shown a demonstration of the products, showing how they helped remove make-up, cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin, and we also got the chance to sample the products on our own skin. Two products that stood out the most were 'Wonderblur', this product is a mix between a moisturiser and a primer, it helps to reduces fine lines and pores for an even, flawless finish, perfect as the last step of your skincare regime before make-up application. The other product was the 'Eye Concentrate' which aims to smooth out the appearance of lines, bags and fatigues. This is something I suffer with terribly, probably because I am constantly tired. However, its something that has began to get harder and harder to hide with concealer and highlighter, so after seeing this product I have decided to give it ago. And I will be posting a review about it in 28 days, as this is when results should be noticeable. I purchased both products and look forward to letting you know how I get on with them. These products would be perfect for young mums, we all start to feel the effects of ageing, I can imagine it feels alot worse for super stressed mothers of young children.

We were also shown a Make-up demonstration of the British Rose Eye & Cheek Palette, this seems like the perfect product to carry in your handbag or overnight bag. The demonstration showed us both a day look and a night look created with the same palette, it was great to see how with just a couple of different steps the day time look can be transformed into a classy nightime look. This palette contains 6 shades of Eye Shadow and 2 shades of Cheek Blush, which could create numerous different looks.
This palette would be perfect for your Mum whether it be for a shopping trip, a night out with friends or a weekend away. Whatever the occasion this palette caters for them all.

Lastly, we were shown a demonstration of the British Skincare Products. Instantly the packaging looked very attractive as part of the Mother's Day theme, with a simple pink rose on a black background, it seemed to me like it represented the start of spring quite well. This demonstration involved a few of my fellow bloggers receiving a hand massage using the British Rose products, this massage included the British Rose Shower Gel, British Rose Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub and the British Rose Handcream. You were instantly hit with a lovely fresh smell from the products, although it had a floral smell, it was not at all over powering. They also left the skin feels very smooth and refreshed, the scrub seems to do a brilliant job of cleaning out pores. The gift sets available for these products were lovely, and I have decided since to purchase the British Rose Essential Gift Collection for my mum. I think these gifts would be perfect for all mummys, who doesn't like a reason to chill and relax, and what better reason is there than trying out new products?

I hope you all show your Mum's how much they truely mean this Mother's Day.
