On piste outfit ...

On my return from Austria I felt like I needed to share with you my favorite outfit for On Piste. I've been lucky enough to spend the last week in the beautiful Arlberg, one of the most beautiful valleys in Austria, and as much as the sun shone everyday, anyone who participates in winter sports will know it can get pretty cold while up the mountain.

This outfit I wore On Piste kept me nice and toasty as well as keeping on trend. Obviously when I was out skiing I layered up with my gorgeous TOPSHOP SNO coat, aswell as Buffs and my Rab gloves, but for dining, lounging and apres ski this outfit did just the trick. I think my favorite part of the outfit was my thermal top, I love the geometric patterns and the bright colours, they are a little different to the normal ski fashion. This top also made it really easy to create an outfit, because I needed to pair it with something nice and simple. I am also a massive fan of my salopettes, after a few years of trying different ski outfits, I've settled quite happily with these. I've owned quite a few pairs of baggy salopettes in the past and I'm really not a big fan. I feel like they do absolutely nothing for your figure and I always felt like I got quite cold in them, probably because I never wear thermal leggings. However with these skinny ones I feel much more comfortable, I feel like they look alot more stylish and they keep me warmer because they are quite tight. They are great for Apres Ski because you can wear them alongside boots and they don't look silly. The boots I wore alongside them are brilliant for winter holidays, not only are they are an item that pretty much never go out of style, they are also very reliable when walking on the snow and ice, it's great to have something with good grip while walking about.

So with only a couple of weeks left of the season I thought I would let you know where I picked up these favorite items of mine, if not for this season it may gave you a couple of ideas in preparation for next season.

My geometric print thermal top is from Sweaty Betty

My skinny leg sallopettes are from the TOPSHOP SNO collection

and my boots are the Timberland Authentics with Teddy Fleece Fold-down.
